Seminars

MATFEM has developed the user-material MF GenYld + CrachFEM which may be coupled to a variety of commercial FE codes with explicit time integration. The model is designed to be modular and extensible. MF GenYld covers the elasto-plastic behaviour of metals and polymers with great flexibility in yield loci, flow rules and hardening. CrachFEM allows for the prediction of local necking for sheet metals and provides different fracture criteria for metals and polymers.

Further, the Crach algorithm for the prediction of local necking is available in the program CrachLab which may be used to determine reliable forming limit diagrams for steels and aluminium alloys based on their strain-rate dependent hardening behaviour.

These programs are versatile and cannot be used effectifely without suitable training. MATFEM offers introductory and advanced seminars focussing on modelling metals and polymer materials with MF GenYld + CrachFEM. Additionally, there will be a seminar on CrachLab, a program for the prediction of forming limit curves.

The seminar programme is available as PDF document.

We hope that the seminar programme suits your needs and look forward to seeing you.
